CRJ700

The CRJ700 is a regional jet manufactured by Bombardier Aviation. The development of the CRJ700 series began in 1994, aiming to create larger variants of the successful CRJ100 and CRJ200 models. The program was officially launched in January 1997. Due to extensive redesigning, the CRJ700 retained only 15% of the original airframe. The first prototype CRJ700 made its maiden flight on May 27, 1999, and the jet entered commercial service with Brit Air in 2001. Production for the CRJ series, which includes the 700, ran from 1999 to 2020. Bombardier is a Canadian multinational corporation specializing in transportation, but its aerospace division, Bombardier Aviation, was responsible for the CRJ family.

A variety of access solutions support the maintenance of the CRJ700. Platforms and stands facilitate maintenance on the Nose Section (Radome, Antenna, and Nose Avionics), Forward Fuselage (Main Entry Door, Cargo/Baggage, and Cabin Access), and the Landing Gear (Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear).

Specialized equipment also ensures access to the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, including the Wing Box and Fuel Tanks, and is indispensable for tasks related to the Wing & Engine Pylon, such as accessing the engine inlet/exhaust, Fan, Compressor, and Hydraulics. Cantilever platforms and super maintenance stands are employed for the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage), providing access for work on the AFT Bulkhead, APU Compartments, Vertical Stabiliser, and Rudder.
