The Citation Sovereign+ (Model 680) is a celebrated midsize business jet produced by Cessna, a foundational aircraft manufacturer now operating under Textron Aviation. The Citation brand is the most popular line of business jets globally, accumulating over 35 million flight hours.
Cessna’s manufacturing history dates back over a century, establishing a reputation for building a wide range of dependable general aviation and business aircraft. The company introduced the Citation family in the early 1970s, pioneering the light and midsize jet market. The Citation Sovereign, the predecessor to the Sovereign+, first flew in 2002, building upon the Citation Excel platform.
The improved Sovereign+ was announced in 2012, featuring innovative winglets and upgraded flight deck and engines. Deliveries began in December 2013, continuing the aircraft’s success with its blend of range, speed, and comfort.
Maintenance access to this aircraft is comprehensive. Platforms and access solutions—including reach deck platform, modular stepover platforms, super trestle scaffold, Ultraraise, and super service stand—provide the height and stability needed for thorough work on all sections.
For the Nose Section, these platforms enable detailed work on the radome, antennas, avionics, and cockpit. The main entry door and cargo areas in the Forward Fuselage are easily reached. For the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), dedicated stands offer essential access for wheel well and component checks.
