B777

The Boeing 777, often called the “Triple Seven,” is a long-range, wide-body twin-engine jet airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It is the world’s largest twinjet and is commonly recognized by its massive turbofan engines, unique circular fuselage cross-section, and blade-shaped tailcone.

The B777 was designed in collaboration with eight major airlines and was first launched in 1990, with its maiden flight taking place in 1994. It was the first commercial aircraft designed entirely by computer-aided design (CAD). It has since become a staple in long-haul air travel, known for its fuel efficiency and range, particularly the extended-range variants like the 777-200LR and 777-300ER.

Its manufacturer, BOEING, is an American multinational corporation and one of the world’s largest aerospace companies, a leader in producing commercial jetliners, military aircraft, and defense, space, and security systems. Based in Arlington, Virginia, Boeing has a long and storied history of pioneering aviation technology.

The B777 is used globally by flag carriers and major international airlines across all continents for long-haul routes. Common locations served include major international hubs in Asia (like Tokyo, Singapore, and Hong Kong), the Middle East (like Dubai and Doha), Europe (like London, Paris, and Frankfurt), and North America (like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago). Its extensive range makes it ideal for connecting these distant global cities.
