AS.350D

The AS.350D is a single-engine light utility helicopter, a variant of the widely recognized AS350. Its lineage traces back to Aérospatiale, with the AS350 conducting its first flight in 1974. Production of the AS350D began in 1978. The manufacturer, Airbus Helicopters, is a modern iteration of a company with deep French national origins, having succeeded Eurocopter, which itself was formed from a merger including Aérospatiale. This aircraft is powered by a Honeywell LTS-101-600 engine.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for this aircraft. These include Reach Deck Platforms, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog. These solutions are key to servicing various sections of the aircraft. For the Wing & Engine Pylon area, platforms support access to the engine, anti-ice systems, and hydraulic components. Access platforms are equally crucial for inspection and maintenance tasks across the Nose Section, Forward Fuselage for cabin and cargo access, and the AFT Fuselage, including areas for rear avionics. Furthermore, maintenance on the Landing Gear and Tail Section components, such as the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, is supported by specialized access equipment, enabling detailed and methodical checks.
