The An-158 is a regional jet designed and manufactured by the Antonov design bureau, a Ukrainian company known for developing numerous large aircraft throughout its history, originating during the Soviet era. Antonov’s heritage includes designing transport aircraft that have set world records. The An-158, an evolution of the An-148, is an elongated version intended for greater passenger capacity, capable of carrying up to 102 passengers with a range of 2600 km.
