A350

The Airbus A350 is a long-range, wide-body twin-engine airliner developed and produced by Airbus. Airbus, a major European aerospace corporation, is one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, known for pioneering fly-by-wire technology and producing a wide range of commercial and military aircraft.

The A350 stands out as the first Airbus aircraft largely constructed from carbon-fiber-reinforced polymers, utilizing a lightweight airframe made of materials like titanium, aluminum, and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic for increased fuel efficiency. It is powered by new fuel-efficient Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines.

The A350 program began in the 2010s, with the A350-900 XWB variant performing its first flight on June 14, 2013, and entering commercial service on January 15, 2015, with Qatar Airways. The longer A350-1000 variant followed, with its first flight in 2016 and commercial introduction in 2018, also with Qatar Airways.

As a modern, efficient wide-body jet, the A350 is commonly used globally on long-haul routes by major international airlines. It is a frequent sight at large airport hubs across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, connecting continents and serving as a staple in modern long-distance commercial aviation.
