A330

The Airbus A330 is a versatile, wide-body twinjet airliner developed and produced by Airbus. Launched in the late 1980s alongside the four-engine A340, the A330 was designed to compete in the medium-to-long-range market. It made its first flight in 1992 and entered service in 1994. Since then, it has become one of the most successful and widely used wide-body aircraft globally, known for its efficiency and reliability. The A330 family includes several variants, such as the A330-200 and the longer A330-300, and has been continuously modernized, notably with the introduction of the A330neo (New Engine Option).

Airbus is a European multinational aerospace corporation and the world’s second-largest aircraft manufacturer. Formed from the consolidation of major European aerospace companies, Airbus has headquarters in Leiden, Netherlands, and primary operations in France, Germany, Spain, and the UK.

The A330 is commonly used by airlines around the globe for both passenger and freighter services. It is a workhorse on transcontinental routes and high-density regional routes, frequently seen in major international hubs across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. Its versatility also makes it a popular choice for military applications, particularly as a multi-role tanker transport (MRTT).
