A188A/A1

The Cessna A188A/A1 is part of the Cessna 188 series, a line of single-engine aircraft designed primarily for agricultural purposes. Manufactured by Cessna, a foundational name in American general aviation, the 188 series was built between 1966 and 1985, with nearly 4,000 units produced across all variants. Cessna, established in 1927 by Clyde Vernon Cessna, quickly became one of the world’s largest manufacturers of general aviation aircraft. The A188A AGwagon “A” variant was certified in 1969 and was powered by a Continental IO-520-D 300 hp engine, featuring a 200 US gallon chemical hopper.

A range of platforms and access solutions support methodical maintenance around this aircraft. For the Nose Section, solutions provide access for work on the radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead. Access solutions also facilitate tasks on the Forward Fuselage, including the Main Entry Door, cargo/baggage areas, and lighting systems.

The Landing Gear (NLG + MLG), Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area (for wing box and fuel tanks), and General Access (AF-BF) benefit from stands that offer crucial height access. Maintenance platforms are indispensable for detailed servicing of the Tail Section (Empennage), covering the vertical and horizontal stabilizers and the rudder. Products like the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand are utilized for comprehensive servicing across the aircraft.
