95-55

The Beechcraft 95-55 Baron, first flown in 1960 and introduced in 1961, stands as the foundational model for the Baron series of light twin-engine aircraft. Manufactured by Beechcraft, a company with a strong history in civil and military aviation, the Baron was developed from the earlier Model 95 Travel Air, incorporating the distinct swept vertical stabilizer found on the Debonair. The original 95-55 was typically configured for four to five occupants and powered by two 260 hp Continental IO-470-L six-cylinder piston engines. This aircraft is recognized as one of the most popular light twins ever produced.

Maintenance and inspection of the 95-55 necessitate a variety of height access methods to address critical aircraft sections. Solutions must support access for the Nose Section (radome, avionics), Forward Fuselage (main entry door, lighting systems, cargo, environmental controls), and Landing Gear (both nose and main). Specialized platforms and stands facilitate work on the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area (fuel tanks, oil maintenance), as well as the Wing and Engine Pylon, covering components such as the inlet, fan, and hydraulic systems. Access is similarly required for the Aft Fuselage (bulkhead, rear avionics, APU compartments) and the Tail Section (vertical and horizontal stabilizers, rudder).
