7FC

The 7FC Tri-Traveller, manufactured by American Champion Aircraft, is a tandem two-seater airplane derived from the Model 7EC Traveller. Production began in 1956. A key feature distinguishing the 7FC from its predecessors is the tricycle fixed undercarriage.

Historically, the aircraft was originally developed by Aeronca and later manufactured by Champion Aircraft Corporation before American Champion Aircraft acquired the rights in 1988. The 7FC is powered by a 90-hp Continental engine. Its structure utilizes a fabric-covered welded steel-tube fuselage and fabric-covered wings. With a cruise speed of 105 mph and a range of 500 miles, the aircraft saw wide use in flight schools as a trainer.

For maintenance around this aircraft, various access solutions support work on key areas. These platforms and stands address access requirements across the aircraft’s structure, including the nose section, forward fuselage, landing gear, wing box area, engine pylon, aft fuselage, and the tail section (empennage). These solutions—including mobile platforms and cantilever platforms—facilitate detailed inspection and service for all aircraft sections.
