The 7EC is a tailwheel aircraft renowned for its classic design and endurance. Originally part of the Aeronca Champ family, it was reintroduced into production by Champion Aircraft in Osceola, Wisconsin, in 1954. This production line led to upgrades, eventually evolving into the 7ECA Citabria. American Champion Aircraft, the current producer, continues the tradition of manufacturing the popular aircraft designs originating from Champion Aircraft.

A variety of access solutions are available to support methodical maintenance around this aircraft. These include platforms and stands that assist with servicing the Nose Section (such as the radome, antenna, and cockpit), the Forward Fuselage (including cabin access and wheel well), and the Landing Gear areas.

For maintenance on the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area (including fuel tanks and oil maintenance), as well as the Wing and Engine Pylon, specialized access platforms like the Super Maintenance Platform and Cantilever Platform offer necessary height and reach. The Branach Fibreglass Platform is ideal for tasks requiring non-conductive access.
