35A

The 35A is a foundational business jet developed by GATES Learjet. This aircraft is part of the lineage descending from Bill Lear’s original Lear 23, which first flew in October 1963. The 35A, alongside the 36A, was introduced in 1976 as an upgraded variant, featuring an increase in Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) over its predecessors. Production of the 35A continued through 1993, with 610 aircraft built, establishing it as a highly successful model in the light business jet category.

A range of height access platforms and stands support methodical maintenance across the 35A. Solutions are available for comprehensive servicing of the Nose Section, including the radome, antenna, avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead. Access solutions also facilitate work on the Forward Fuselage, targeting the main entry door, cargo/baggage areas, and environmental control system components.

Further platforms and stands support the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) and the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area, providing access for fuel tank, oil maintenance, and cabin interior work. Dedicated equipment allows for detailed inspection of the Wing & Engine Pylon section, covering the engine inlet/exhaust, body, and hydraulics. Specialized platforms address the AFT Fuselage sections, including the rear avionics and APU compartments, and the entire Tail Section, ensuring access to the vertical and horizontal stabilizers and rudder.
