112

The Commander 112 is a four-seat general aviation aircraft initially conceived to combine luxury with performance. Its manufacturing history began with Rockwell International, a company with foundational roots tracing back to North American Aviation in 1928. After a 1967 merger, Rockwell International developed the Commander 112, introducing it in 1972. Production continued through 1980, yielding variants like the 112A and the turbocharged 112TC. The aircraft design rights later changed hands, leading to upgraded versions released through 2002.

Maintaining the Commander 112 requires precise access across its structure. Specialized stands and access solutions, including elevated deck systems, modular step-over platforms, and cantilever platforms, address this need. These access tools facilitate meticulous work on the nose section components, vital forward fuselage systems like environmental controls and main entry doors, and both nose and main landing gear. Furthermore, they are indispensable for maintenance on the wing and engine pylon areas, specifically targeting the engine, inlet, and exhaust components. They also provide essential access to the tail section for work on the vertical and horizontal stabilizers.
