Van’s Aircraft, Inc. is a leading American kit-aircraft manufacturer, founded by Richard “Van” VanGrunsven. The organization specializes in designing and producing kits for the popular RV (Recreational Vehicle) series of all-metal, high-performance, homebuilt aircraft.

Well-known current products are the various models in the RV line, which pilots build themselves. These include the RV-6/6A, RV-7/7A, RV-8/8A, RV-9/9A, RV-10 (four-seater), RV-12/12iS (Light-Sport Aircraft), and the newest model, the RV-14/14A.

The company’s historical foundation includes the original RV-1 (a modified Stits Playboy) and the RV-3, which was the first original Van’s design and paved the way for the future of the kitplane industry.
