Schiebel Elektronische Geräte GmbH is an Austrian company specializing in the development and production of Unmanned Air Systems (UAS). Their most well-known current product is the Camcopter S-100, a highly successful Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) UAS used globally for military and civilian surveillance and reconnaissance, including maritime applications. Schiebel also produces high-performance mine detection equipment, which was the company’s initial focus.
