Nord Aviation

Nord Aviation was a French state-owned aerospace manufacturer created in 1954 and merged into Aérospatiale in 1970.

Historically, Nord Aviation was a major producer of guided missiles, including the highly successful SS.10 anti-tank missile (the world’s first tactical missile in service), and subsequent variants like the SS.11 and SS.12. They also produced the AA.20 air-to-air missile, and its conversion to the AS.20 and AS.30 air-to-ground missiles. In terms of aircraft, its most famous historical product was the Nord 2501 Noratlas twin-boom military transport aircraft.

As the company is defunct, it has no current products under the original name.
