Learjet

Learjet, originally founded by Bill Lear in the early 1960s, is famous for pioneering the business jet category. Known for its sleek design and high performance, Learjet aircraft became synonymous with corporate and celebrity travel. The company was acquired by Bombardier in 1990. While Bombardier ceased production of the Learjet line in 2022, historically well-known products include the original Learjet 23, the Learjet 35/36, the Learjet 60, and the final production model, the Learjet 75 Liberty. The brand significantly impacted civil and military aviation by popularizing executive air travel.
