Constructiones Aeronauticas S A

Construcciones Aeronáuticas S.A. (CASA) was a Spanish aerospace company, founded in 1923, and is now part of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (Airbus). Historically, CASA built aircraft under license, such as Dornier Wal “flying boats,” the Bücker Bü 131 (CASA 1.131 Jungmann), and the Junkers Ju 52 (CASA 352). They also developed early designs like the CASA-1. Modern products associated with CASA before its integration include the CASA C-212 Aviocar and the CASA C-295 regional airliner and military transport. CASA was also involved in joint European projects like the Eurofighter Typhoon.
