Cirrus Aircraft is an American manufacturer of piston-engine and jet aircraft. The company is known for its innovation in general aviation, most notably for introducing the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS®) as standard equipment on its aircraft, which has saved over 250 lives. Their well-known current products include the SR Series (SR20, SR22, SR22T) high-performance single-engine piston aircraft and the Vision Jet (SF50), the world’s first single-engine personal jet. Historically, their innovative approach, including the CAPS system, has been a defining feature of their product line.
