Bellanca Aircraft Corporation was a prominent American aircraft manufacturer, founded by Giuseppe Bellanca in 1927. The company is historically renowned for its high-performance, single-engine aircraft designs, many of which set records in early aviation.

Historical Products: Bellanca’s most famous historical aircraft include the WB-2 “Columbia” (used in the first non-stop flight across the Atlantic from Newfoundland to Germany in 1927) and the Cruisair series (including the 14-13 and 17-30 Viking). These aircraft were known for their efficiency and high quality.

Current Products: While the original company has undergone various changes and periods of inactivity, the Bellanca name is still associated with the Bellanca Viking, which is occasionally produced or maintained by successor companies, though it is not widely manufactured today.
