Aero Vodochody

Aero Vodochody is a Czech aerospace company founded in 1919, specializing primarily in military aircraft and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. The company is historically renowned for its line of jet trainers and light attack aircraft. Its most famous historical product is the Aero L-39 Albatros, one of the most widely used jet trainers globally, with thousands built and exported. Currently, Aero Vodochody’s focus includes the advanced training and light attack jet, the L-159 ALCA (Advanced Light Combat Aircraft), a modernized derivative of the Albatros family. It also maintains a strong MRO business, supporting its own aircraft and those of other manufacturers.
